As you may have noticed, eMule (http://www.emule-project.net/) 0.47a was released 2006-01-26, with a recent release of version 0.47b on 2006-09-08. But the version released on September 8 had some problems, so it is advised that you get the latest version 0.47c, which was released 2006-09-14. Coming so soon after the release of version .047b, this newer version 0.47c is what they call a "hotfix". They had to release a new version so soon due to the severity of problems that were discovered with version 0.47b.
It must be the curse of the RIAA, since September 8th was the three-year anniversary of the first round of 261 civil lawsuits being filed against filesharers.
