Downhill Battle (http://www.downhillbattle.org) and RIAA Radar (http://www.riaaradar.com/) have designed stickers that are perfect for posting on the works of various greedy, arrogant scoundrels, who are advocates of the machinery of commercialized music, and who believe that the trash that they've been selling to the masses is worthy of the phrase "artistic talent".

One sticker has the text:
WARNING!
BUYING THIS CD FUNDS LAWSUITS AGAINST CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

The other sticker has the text:
WARNING!
THIS RECORD LABEL PAYS RADIO STATIONS TO KEEP INDEPENDENT MUSIC STATIONS OFF THE AIR

They certainly have been one of the coolest guys to show up on the p2p scene this year. Let us count our blessings for having them around. The p2p award of excellence for p2p activism in 2003 goes to them.

How many stickers did you order? Their site is down right this minute.

I didn't actually order any, they just said they'd send me some...and I don't know how many they are gonna send... but I can't wait to get out there and do it up...

I'll have EXCLUSIVE footage.... via, cam-corder, cameras, and hopefully public news stations, w00tness...

I'm a martyr!

How about sending them with a little anthrax to the RIAA headquarters?

Beejus, I am proud of you. You are a courageous and energetic p2p warrior. You are worthy of the ranks of the p2p mujahedeen.

hah, no need for admirations yet my friend...

once the work has been done, then you can thank me...for now, it's just in the making...

As for the anthrax thing... I don't think so, lol. However, I can mail them a sign that says "Fuck you all" if you'd like. Being a minor is fun :)

hey i wanna make an aussie version
we have problems here
i have tyried to get 12 diffferent overseas (non-us) band imposrted
they dont show up in the database
there is only one importer for all aussie music stores ive been told so thats it final
i said every time "ima fucking downloading it then"

prices are too high

and imports are up to 90 bucks
90?
u can tell the prices are popularity based
one example
new cd's and top 40 - $30
anything else 25 or 20
singles $10 - nice lol
boxed sets (5CD's) on unheard of (to me) jazz and country stars - $30

the label own thier copyrights to the music
which they cannot take with them to other labels

another example is how crap they are at keeping stock and getting in all cd's of an artist - big aussie artist slim dusty ( im no fan) he has 100 cd's - and u can get maybe about 6 or 7 at the most in most cd shops (unless u want to pay 40 or 50 bucks and wait 2 months

fuck them

im told by record shop owners to just download them
show something else to me
that record shops are getting ripped off or are in on the ripping off
they sell so much crap and dont care and they get more than the artist per cd!!

FUCK IT ALL! FUCK THIS WORLD!
FUCK EVERYTHING THAT YOU STAND FOR!
DON'T BELONG! DON'T EXIST!
DON'T GIVE A SHIT!
DON'T EVER JUDGE ME!

-the words of slipknot

why should we have to belong in a world in which we protest against?
FUCK THEM ALL!!
