Wow, that's a cool trick, but don't in your haste to be safe, jump from the frying pan into the fire.

How did you get it to say "powered by Harby"?

When I used to have the eclectica.dns2go.com domain, I was able to redirect it to various websites. I tried pinging 3-3-3.org and got an average time of 23 ms. Then I pinged harby.doesntexist.org and got an average reply time of 26 ms.

Well looking at the source code of the "powered by Harby" page reveals that it uses frames, which I don't know much about. Here is the source code:

<html>
<head>
<title>Powered by Harby</title>
</head>
<frameset rows="100%,*" onload="window.open('http://static-web.dyndns.org/webhopad.html','floater','width=485,height=70,scrollbars=no,toolbar=no,status=no,resizable=no,menubar=no,directories=no')">
<frame src="http://www.3-3-3.org/" name="redir_frame">
<noframes>
Sorry, your browser does not support frames. Please <a href="http://www.3-3-3.org/" target=_top>go here</a>.
</noframes>
</frameset>
</html>

i don't know a great deal about that either e...but look at the part that says:

<frame src="http://www.3-3-3.org/"

and substitute any web address you want to use...like for example http://www.google.com or http://www.p2p-zone.com

make it like this:

<html>
<head>
<title>Powered by Harby</title>
</head>
<frameset rows="100%,*" onload="window.open('http://static-web.dyndns.org/webhopad. html','floater','width=485,height=70,scrollbars=no
,toolbar=no,status=no,resizable=no,menubar=no,dire
ctories=no')">
<frame src="http://www.p2p-zone.com/" name="redir_frame">
<noframes>
Sorry, your browser does not support frames. Please <a href="http://www.3-3-3.org/" target=_top>go here</a>.
</noframes>
</frameset>
</html>

save the whole code i bolded (with the changed url) as a plain ASCII file (paste this code into notepad..not Word or wordpad) and save it as "anyfile" with the extension .html instead of .txt.

See if it doesn't show you p2pzone..powerd by harby?

basically it loads the page inside of frame...using my own customised title...its late...i'm sleepy...best i can explain right now...hope it made sense. :P

I registered the domain sharmannetworks.org and had it redirected to 3-3-3.org. There is an option, in the redirection provided by Network Solutions, to mask the address or not. When it is unmasked, you see sharmannetworks.org in the address. Otherwise it is 3-3-3.org. (See the attachment for the picture of the web forwarding options in the Network Solutions control panel.)

I tried pinging both 3-3-3.org and sharmannetworks.org, and I got no response from sharmannetworks.org. It is a different IP address. You can ping by going to run and typing in "command". Then type in "ping 3-3-3.org".

I see that previewing a post which has an attachment cancels the attachment, so here it is in the next post.
