I had a problem with the saved database of The Real Underground. I spent many hours to no avail trying to figure out the problem, while this domain sat idle. I figured why not start a new forum rather than sit here trying to fix an old dead archive. Building a forum from the foundation upwards is more interesting.
I have the saved databases from The Real Underground, and will relinquish them to its founders if requested. I regret most the loss of the posts in April 2003, when The Real Underground was located at this same web address (3-3-3.org). Here is more information on MySQL database corruption (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=69803).
This is not The Real Underground. Now I'm not going to play dumb and pretend like I have nothing to do with it, and that this place came out of a void. What I'm trying to say, is that since there are no prior posts or registered members, I don't feel this place should be called The Real Underground. Though this is not to say that in the future I won't decide to change the forum name to that either.
I am grateful that I didn't really have to form this place out of a void, but instead I had the benefit of a member roster of 200 people back in early April, which I exploited by sending out an e-mail to everyone notifying them of the existence of 3-3-3.org. In addition, I had the great help of SiXXGuNNZ to teach me how to set up a bulletin board.
There are tons of fine bulletin boards out there, and this one is just another one in a saturated community. You are all welcome to register and post here.
