You know, it has been a while since i have been touched by a writers words... i read an interview with James Dennis Carroll (or better known as jim carroll) recently, and was touched deeply by his honesty.

Who was it that said that any fool can be honest... for he doesn't know any better... but a wise man knows WHEN to be honest... with jim carroll, i appreciate his honesty, because he talks of things he has OVERCOME... it's a wisdomy type honesty instead of just a egotisical one. :eatout:

When I hear the term "you people" I am reminded of the reaction Ross Perot got when he spoke to a Black audience in 1992. You see, Ross Perot was a billionaire running under his own party for president, and not affiliated with either the Democrat or Republican parties.
