I have been researching family tree for years. Recently researched further family connections and have discovered that De Champernon, Ferrers, Beauchamp, Anthony Morse are on my Grandmothers family side. Her name was Mable Angie Dain with the surnames, Butts, Morse & others to long to list. It just amazes the family connections that I have made with Web sites. Thank you for yours. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely Sharon Walker

what an amazing find. just got this webtv thing and ccidently bought a paper with access to internet nd it menioned google so i tried it. i just typed in joel yownsley rogers figured would be nothing because whohas heard of him and got this wonderful pa e.what a treasure. It is the best page I hae found. I'm so glad this great writer has such a terrific tribute. He was sooo good in 25. I am not too good at this and it is late so I'm going to come back to the page tomorrow and read all ofit. I had this job where there were lotsof pulp magazines and I discovered him. Never read a bad oe. I wish I had wonthat 350 million because one of the things I would do would print a complete edition of his works because I thin he is one of the great writers and sh ud be available to everyone as are Jim Thompson and Cornell Woolrich and Faulkner. Sorry to rattle on but you'll never know what a thrill it is to find this. I'm not too good a typist. Someoe just found an adventure pulp with his story the fool killer an I can't wait to read it. Thank you thank you for your site. this is late and written in haste so sloppy. I hope to get better at working this thing as i'm not to good on lies

Don't know YOU, Tom Rogers, but my son, Robert Markstein (married to Monica Zangwill), is Zena's uncle. And Rob suggested I take a look at your Web site. It is really terrific. I also enjoyed your writeup about trying to capture your granddaughter is a series of pictures, and, espeially, the pictures. Keep up the good work. Donald Markstein

Very cool site. You show a real love for your family and friends. That's nice to see among so much "nasty" on the web! I also live in NYC, and it is a cool place to live. amanda

It is incredibly late and it would be impossible to explain how I found your site, but I feel compelled to write something to you. I think this web site is great. It shows that you spent a lot of time trying to convey to people about your life, friends, & family through true affection. Your son is lucky to have such a cool dad. If I run into him some time (I live in NYC) I'll tell him in person. Take care.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine they were exhausted and went to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see." Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars." "What does that tell you?" Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Timewise, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that The lord is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have, a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?" Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, you idiot, Some bastard has stolen our tent."

Hello pop, What a web page you have created! This should give all of the stalkers out there a veritable profusion of victims to choose from...on the other hand it may facilitate my upcoming career transition from 'Environmental Engineer' to 'Cult Leader'. Very kind of you to leave out pictures of me in the buff and with bad haircuts. Peace and Love to the friends and family, -Your obstreperous son

Tom -- By sheer accident, I stumbled onto "Honey, Don't You Trust Old Bear?" whilst trying to find short fiction on the internet. I'm taking a graduate course in short fiction writing, so of course I'm frozen with fear and can't think a lick. And readin OTHER people's writings is SORT OF like getting ready to write...no? Anyhoo, I was blown away. One of the most astounding things I've ever read. Period. I was so moved that I read it to my wife -- a dyslectic social worker who cannot read and hates li erature -- and she both cried begged for me to print a copy of it. I would love to read anything else you've written. Also, perhaps you can share some advice on your web page...for folks like me who have stories in their head but are jammed up. Thanks, and God bless you. Rich

Hello there. Interesting web-site. I have my mother (Kitty Oliver Irvine) on the phone as I write this note. She told me about you and wanted me to look up your web site. Kitty says hello. Keep on writing. You seem to have that angst-ridden, smirky charm. -- graceann, nyc on my way to newburyport, mass
